Portland, OR · Monologue challenge: October
DramaComedyStage & screenTwo years of classes

I started acting in community theater three years ago and haven't stopped since. By day I manage a bakery; by night I'm in a scene-study class or rehearsing for whatever the local stage will have me in. This month's piece is a monologue from a play about two estranged sisters. I'm working on staying still and letting the words do the work.

Contact happens through Breakout. Actors' email addresses and phone numbers are never shown. After a challenge's results are published, judges who rated a reel can message the actor, and the actor can switch that off or block anyone.

The usual set: a main headshot (shoulders up, natural light, just you), a smiling "commercial" look, a serious "theatrical" look, a three-quarter and a full-length shot, a profile shot, and a character shot. Photos are checked automatically and never affect scores.
